School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
NTU Singapore
Yifan Wang leads research on human–robot interaction, assistive and wearable robotics, and intelligent robotic materials and structures. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago (2016) and B.S. from Peking University (2011), and was a postdoctoral fellow at Caltech before joining NTU in 2020.
Embodied Intelligence for Robotics
We create robots that adapt to people and the world around them. Led by Associate Professor Yifan Wang at NTU Singapore, the Robotic Materials Group brings together human–robot interaction, assistive and wearable robotics, and intelligent materials and structures. We connect sensing, learning, control and physical design to build more capable, human-centered robotic systems.
